Proactivity

Romans 15:13 There’s no such thing as hopeless to anyone who follows Christ!  He’s the “God of hope”!

But we can certainly find ourselves in situations that look hopeless!

David returns to his base only to find the place ransacked and their families taken hostage.  His team simply lay down in their misery, overwhelmed by the devastation. (1 Samuel 30: 1-6)

But David is a proactive kind of guy – never give up, never give in!

He’s looking not at what’s happened, but at what he can do!

In difficult times, ask yourself the proactive question – “What can I do?”

That question unlocks for David and his men (who rally around the idea of what’s possible) the complete restoration of all that had been taken from them.

Harness the power of proactivity in your life!
