The very first activity of God recorded in His word is the activity of creativity!
But look at what the Creator started with:
Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (NKJV)
One version translates the state of the earth as being “chaotically disturbed”!
A creative person isn’t turned off by difficulties, problems and adversity – they realize that problems are the starting point of creativity!
If you want to be a leader of anything, you have to be a creative person – and that doesn’t mean someone artistic in the creative sense, but someone who can create order out of chaos; someone who sees a problem and dreams of the answer!
Think about it for a moment – what problems are there right now in your world, your relationships, your circumstances?
That right there is the seed-bed of your successes!
Think creatively – “What’s possible?” is the first question.
The second question is “How can I begin?” Don’t wait for things to get easy or look favourable before you start!
Your biggest successes lie on the other side of your biggest problems!
